Enterprise Board to sponsor the first 10 women from North Tipperary to book places at National Women’s Enterprise Day

The National Women’s Enterprise Day aims to inspire, activate and assist women across Ireland in running their own business.  The event takes place on Friday 19th November 2010 at the Strand Hotel in Limerick.  The Conference is preceded by a networking event on Thursday evening 18th November.  National Women’s Enterprise Day will feature a conference, exhibition, mentor clinics and networking opportunities.

This event offers support to women already in business and those thinking of starting out.  Speakers at National Women’s Enterprise Day include Sahar Hashemi, founder of Coffee Republic, Ivan Yates, the Newstalk Breakfast Show and Celtic Bookmakers, Mary FitzGerald, Proprietor of the Woodlands House Hotel & Spa along with a panel of female entrepreneurs drawn from the client base of the County & City Enterprise Boards.

If you would like to attend why now go on to www.nwed.ie to book your place.  The first ten delegates from North Tipperary can recoup their fee from the Tipperary North County Enterprise Board.  If you are unemployed and would like to attend please contact Ms. Geraldine Manning, Business Development Officer at the Board’s office in Connolly Street, Nenagh tel. 067-33086 who will look after your booking.  County and City Enterprise Boards are funded by the Irish Government and co-funded by the European Union under the EU Structural Funds 2007-2013.
