Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers trip to Wales

Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers next big event is from Fri Oct 08 to Sun Oct 10 when this long established group will welcome walkers from across Ireland for its 12th Autumn Charity Challenge. This year the event takes place among the unmatched scenery of Westport, Co Mayo, and offers some of the best walking in the west in support of visually impaired people.
The base for the event is the Knockranny House Hotel, which is scenically located overlooking Ireland’s prettiest town with swimming pool and leisure centre. Walks on offer, which are aimed to suit all fitness levels include; an ascent of Mweelrea the highest mountain in Connaught, a full traverse of the Croagh Patrick Mountain Ridge, or a low-level walk on the Western Way.
The cost is E199 for the weekend including bed & breakfast in Knockranny House for the weekend and gala dinner Saturday evening.
