No Garda Investigation Into Banks But Grandad Charged For Stealing Easter Egg

When Seamus Healy TD demanded that Government send the Fraud Squad into the Banks 6 MONTHS AGO to investigate tracker fraud, there was a strong basis for believing that criminality was taking place.
Government Allowing Over-Charging by Banks

The Criminal Law (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act 2001 says: “A person who dishonestly, with the intention of making a gain for himself or herself or another, or of causing loss to another by any deception, induces another to do or refrain from doing an act, is guilty of an offence.”

Days earlier,Central Bank officials had told the Oireachtas Finance Committee that information was being shared with gardaí but that no official complaint to gardaí had been made about any bank!!!!!

On the same day, a judge had criticised the prosecution for charging a grandad for stealing a chocolate Easter egg worth 3 Euro from LIDL
