Hear about the Impact of Brexit on the Midwest at Limerick Chamber Spring Business Lunch
Limerick Chamber will host a Business Lunch on Brexit on Tuesday April 25th from 12.15pm to 2.00pm in the Castletroy Park Hotel. The event is being sponsored by Ulster Bank and will focus on the challenges of Brexit for businesses.
Dr. Stephen Kinsella, Economics Lecturer with the University of Limerick and Columnist with the Sunday Business Post will be the keynote speaker at the event. Dr. Kinsella will provide an overview of the impact of Brexit on the Midwest economy. A panel discussion will follow lunch, featuring Declan Daly, Senior Manager from Ulster Bank, Trevor Byrnes, CFO from Roadbridge and Eoin Ryan, Managing Director from the Galtee Group which will focus on how they have adapted to the challenging business environment. The event will feature live polling of the audience on keys issues affecting businesses and will involve an interactive Q&A session.
Director of Policy with Limerick Chamber, Caroline Kelleher, said “With the UK accounting for 14 per cent of Ireland’s export, the impact of Brexit will be felt across all sectors of our economy. Limerick Chamber is delighted to be hosting this event which will aim to assist businesses in identifying how they can adapt to the challenges posed by Brexit.
