Post Primary Schools Competitions

Congratulations to Presentation Secondary School, Thurles who won the Munster Ladies Football Senior C Post Primary Schools Championship on Friday last on a scoreline of Presentation Secondary School, Thurles 4-9 Coláiste an Phiarsaigh 0-9. They are now looking forward to playing in the Lidl All Ireland Senior ‘C’ Post Primary School Championship Semi Final against Santa Maria Louisburgh Mayo on Monday, March 13th at a venue to be confirmed.

In the Lidl All Ireland Senior ‘B’ Post Primary School Championship Semi Final Loreto SS, Clonmel, Tipperary will compete against Sacred Heart, Westport, Mayo in Banagher, Co. Offaly at 12.30pm on Tuesday, March 7th. For the result of this game check out www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie

John The Baptist, Limerick with a number of players from West Tipperary will play Presentation College, Tuam, Galway in the Lidl All Ireland Senior ‘A’ Post Primary School Championship Semi Final at a fixture to be confirmed.

 

 

Post Primary Schools Blitzes

Tipperary Ladies Football Association will be hosting their Post Primary Schools Blitzes in Rockwell College. The Under 15 blitz will be held on Thursday, April 27th while the Under 14 blitz is organised for Tuesday, May 16th.

Munster Ladies Football will host a first year Post Primary Blitz on Wednesday, May 3rd in Mallow.

Full details of these blitzes will be emailed to the Post Primary Schools.

 

 

Fundamentals Courses

As part of the requirement to have all coaches qualified to coach Tipperary Ladies Football are running a number of Fundamentals Coaching Courses. Ballyporeen are holding their fundamentals course in Ballyporeen on Saturday, March 25th from 10am to 4pm. The cost is €20 per person and anyone interested please contact Ann on 087 1857348 asap as place are limited.

Silvermines are hosting their fundamentals course in Dolla on Saturday, April 1st from 10am to 4pm. The cost is €20 per person and anyone interested please contact Ciara on 086 0642560 asap as place are limited.

 

 

Referees 2017

There is an updated list of all referees qualified for refereeing Ladies Football games within the county for the year 2017. Neutral referees and only referee from this list are preferred for all games.

 

 

Women’s Gaelic Players Association scholarship scheme

Congratulations to Aishling Moloney, Cahir and Jen Grant, Brian Borus who received a Women’s Gaelic Players Association scholarship. They were two of the thirty two scholarships presented in Kilashee Hotel on Tuesday last.
