Upland Players present The Bog Queen in Upperchurch Community Centre

The Upland Players present The Bog Queen, a highly entertaining pantomime written by Gerry Britt and directed by Pat Loughnane. It is being held in the Upperchurch Community Centre on 27th, 28th and 29th of January at 8pm each night.  After enduring a cold and grey January, the Bog Queen will be a real treat of fun and laughs, so be sure to come along for a wonderful family evening.  Tickets are €12 for Adults and €6 for children and are available at the door.

The playwright, Gerry Britt, is a native of New York who traced his roots back to Upperchurch and Drombane. He is now a frequent visitor to Ireland. His book ‘Goodwill on Credit, Travels in Ireland‘ contains a number of humorous and insightful stories into his travels around Ireland. His previous play ‘When are you going back‘ was performed by the Upland Players last year.
