The Tony Ryan Fund for Tipperary Community Grants Programme 2017 open for applications

The Tony Ryan Fund for Tipperary Community Grants Programme 2017 is now open for applications. It is open to community and voluntary organisations working in County Tipperary.

The aim of the fund is to enhance a sense of belonging in communities.

Grants will support:
Community initiatives promoting  a sense of belonging and community spirit. Priority will be given to initiatives that seek to engage youth and new members to a community and increase their sense of belonging. Grants of up to €5,000 will be available.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • An identified need that can be addressed with this funding
  • How the initiative will increase the sense of belonging for youth and new communities
  • That the initiative has engaged with and secured the support of the local community
  • How many beneficiaries there will be as a result
  • A clear budget

Grants will not support:
Animal charities
Overseas travel
Political activity
Missionary activity
Capital project contributions
Projects outside County Tipperary

28th February 2017:                          Outcomes announced
28th February 2017:                          Grant payments issued (if successful)
1st September 2017:                        Outcome reports to be submitted to The Community Foundation
