Tipperary 7/4 to retain Liam McCarthy in 2017

Following their nine point demolition of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland SHC Final, BoyleSports has installed Tipperary at 7/4 to retain the Liam McCarthy Cup.

Kilkenny who were denied three in a row and a record 37th All Ireland SHC title are 11/4 to win back the Liam McCarthy. It’s then 7/1 about Waterford, Clare or Galway to win the 2017 All-Ireland SHC.

Limerick are next in the betting at 12/1 with Cork priced at 14/1 whilst Dublin can be backed at 25/1.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “Tipperary ended their six year drought with a nine point bashing of Kilkenny at Croke Park and as a result the Premier County are 7/4 to retain the All-Ireland SHC crown in 2017.”

He added “Kilkenny may well have surrendered their All-Ireland crown but no doubt the current 11/4 about the Marble City winning the 2017 SHC will prove popular as The Cats will be back to lick the cream once again next year.”
