Tipperary Evens To Lift Liam McCarthy Cup After Narrow Galway victory

Tipperary secured their spot in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final after a 2-19 to 2-18 victory over Galway.

Tipperary will meet Kilkenny at Croke Park on September 4th in a battle for the Liam McCarthy Cup. The Premier County have been cut into Even money from 11/8 to lift the cup and installed at 6/5 to see the Cats off in 70 minutes.

Reigning champions Kilkenny have the betting on their side at 4/5 to lift the trophy and Evens to win in 70 minutes. A draw can be backed at 8/1.

Aoife Heffron, PR Executive for BoyleSports commented “It was a gruelling semi-final against Galway for Michael Ryan’s men that saw them win it by just one point. Ahead of the finals Tipperary are Even money to end the six-year wait for the Liam McCarthy cup in The Premier County.”

She added “Kilkenny are aiming for the hat-trick and at present the odds are in their favour to hang onto the Liam McCarthy cup for yet another year at 4/5 Outright and Even money in the match betting.”
