Tipperary Camogie

Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championship Quarter Finals

Tipperary 0-16  wexford 2-11

It was heart break for our girls last saturday in waterford as wexford fought back to grab a late injury time winner to deny tipp a place in the All-Ireland semi-finals.

Tipp were fantastic in the first half leading wexford at half time on a score line of tipp 0-10 wexford 0-05 and in the second half wexford came back strong and a late rally insured wexford a place in the last four of the All-Ireland championship.

When the dust has well and truly settled and we reflect on this years senior championship i think it is fair to say that tipp are heading in the right direction and that the gap between us and the other top tier teams is getting smaller, we have a young and very talented bunch of girls very commited to the job in hand and the experience of this years championship will stand to them.
