BoyleSports slash Tipperary to 6/4 joint favs for All Ireland Hurling Championship

The Premier County, Tipperary, marched onto the All Ireland Semi-Final with a 21 point demolition job of Waterford. John McGrath was the star man as he scored a hat trick of goals in this Munster Final. As a result, Tipperary have been slashed into 6/4 joint favourites from 5/2 to win the Liam McCarthy Cup this year. On the other hand Derek McGrath will have a huge task on his hands to try and get his players up for the quarter final. They are now out to 7/1 from 5/1.

Leon Blanche, Head of Communications for BoyleSports commented “Many so called experts felt this would be a very close affair. You have to give credit to Tipperary with how ruthless they were in demolishing a very strong Waterford side. The Premier County are now 6/4 joint favouites from 5/2 and rightly so”

He added, “Brian Cody will have been looking on and there is no doubt Tipperary must pose the biggest threat to the Cats retaining Liam McCarthy this year. Kilkenny can now be backed at 6/4 having drifted out from 5/4 due to the sheer brilliance of the display from Michael Ryan’s men .”
