Tipperary Friends of Animals Sponsored Walk

The time has come around once again when the dogs around the county will be picking up their leads and urging their owners to head into Nenagh for the Tipperary Friends of Animals Sponsored Walk.  All dogs and their owners are invited to join in on a fun day to raise much needed funds for the Tipperary Friends of Animals.
The Tipperary Friends of Animals do vital work in rescuing stray, lost, injured and abused animals across North Tipperary and are constantly raising funds to cover the costs of vets bills, medicines and accomodation for these animals.  The bills, as with bills for everyone across the country, are constantly on the increase, so the kindness of people across the county is so important to the Tipperary Friends of Animals. All the funds raised by the sponsored walk will go towards these costs.
The walk will be held on Sunday 26th June at 3pm in Banba Square in Nenagh, is about three miles long and will be preceeded by a Blessing of the Animals and refreshments will be served after the walk for the dogs and their owners.  To get a sponsor form, call Linda at 086-8163707. Be sure to come along with your dog and enjoy a wonderful day, contributing to a very worthy cause.
