Help name the newest indoor attraction in Tipperary

Upperchurch Drombane Development Association have been working over the last number of years to market the Upperchurch area as a walking and outdoor destination hub. Trojan work has been done in creating a number of beautiful walks and trails in the area with visitor numbers continuing to grow every year.

Thanks to support from North Tipperary LEADER Partnership, the hard working committee is now opening a state of the art not-for-profit community based indoor climbing wall & bouldering facility in Upperchurch this November.  The team behind the facility are running a competition among primary and secondary schools in the county to come up with a name for the facility (maximum 2 words) – something catchy and exciting. The winning entry gets a 2 hour climbing session for themselves and 5 friends – a prize that they wouldn’t forget! We’ve contacted all the schools in the county so ask your teacher how to get involved. We need entries in by 25th October via upperrural@gmail.com or by post to Upperchurch Indoor Rock Climbing, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
