Winners of the North Tipperary County Enterprise Awards to be announced later this week.

Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport, Alan Kelly TD to announce the winners of the North Tipperary County Enterprise Awards later this week.

 

From a pool of 8 Finalists that includes Nenagh firms, Adsmart, Echo It Ltd., Lough Derg Chocolates and Webpostit Ltd, Templemore based Chimney Draught Stop Ltd. and  Grey Mobile  Media Ltd., Thurles firm Irish Piemontese Beef Ltd. and Rearcross based R&A Meats Ltd T/a Lisduff Traditional  Fine Foods, the following awards will be presented by Minister Kelly :

 

  • Overall Winner
  • Runner Up
  • Special Award for Innovation & Potential to Export
  • Best New Business

 

The competition was introduced in 1997 by the network of County and City Enterprise Boards to recognise the contribution that small enterprises make to Ireland’s economic development and to acknowledge their role in building a vibrant and successful indigenous business sector. The County Winner who will be announced on Thursday night 4 October at a function in the Fairways, Kilruane will go on to represent North Tipperary at the National Enterprise Awards which takes place at the Mansion House, Dublin on 21 November.

All 8 finalists are wished the best of luck in this year’s competition.
