Drumcullen GAA Club

SHC: Drumcullen’s crucial last group game in the SHC is fixed for this Saturday at 4.30pm in Moystown. This is a crucial game as a win would secure Drumcullen’s placec in the Senior ranks for next year. A draw or a defeat would mean Drumcullen go into the relegation play-off against Shamrocks. All support for this crucial game would be greatly appreciated.

Division 2 HL: Drumcullen are through to the Division 2 Hurling League Final after a 3-19 to 1-12 win over Shinrone on Saturday. This was a good win for the lads and ahead of their crunch game with Tullamore on Saturday.

U-12s: It was a busy weekend for the U-12s as they rounded of their season with a game against Birr on Friday evening before taking part in a blitz in Banagher on Saturday. They were in hard luck against a stronger Birr side on Friday but they won both their blitz games on Saturday to end the year on a high. Credit has to go to all the coaches who worked with the team over the year and while numbers are small, all the boys and girls on the team can be very proud of their efforts for the club over the year.

Lotto: Numbers drawn were 7, 9, 18 and 19. No jackpot winner. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,650. Seven match 3 winners each receive €25. They were Anne Dermody, Jim Dooley, Joseph Mannion, Kieran Dooley, Hugh Troy, John Guinan, Niamh Mooney. Promoters Prize went to Liz Ryan

Camogie: Best of luck to the camogie club as they face Birr in the Senior Championship semi-final replay this weekend after the sides finished level last Saturday.
