Clonmel Chamber To Host National Enterprise Conference

The National Enterprise Conference will be held on October 19th at the Hotel Minella, Coleville Road, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Registration for the event will start at 8.30am. The event will conclude at 1pm.

The 2012 conference will focus on development. Over the last number of years we have presented leading speakers from the business sector to our delegates and 2012 will be no different. This year our speakers have been tasked with providing insights in to how they have developed their companies, how they feel the business community can develop in the current economic climate and where they see the opportunities for growth. The topics covered will have relevance to all sectors.

The cost of attending the conference is €45.

Each year the conference is the biggest event of its type in Tipperary and it offers ample opportunity for networking with business people from around Ireland, as delegates at previous conferences will attest. It is an ideal opportunity to meet with other business leaders and to listen to some of the most respected speakers in the country.

The line up this year includes:

  • Cully Allen – one half of the now famous Cully & Sully soup company. Cully will be detailing how he and his partner took an idea and turned it into a household brand.

  • Shane Cradock is one of Ireland’s most in demand mentors and coaches. On a daily basis he works with top executives at internationally known companies to help them maximise their performance at work. He will be bringing his insights to the conference on the 19th.

  • Lucy Masterson is the driving force behind Hireland – an initiative to get people back to work. She has developed the Hireland initiative and since its initial roll out at the start of 2012 over 6000 jobs have been pledged by companies throughout Ireland. Their slogan is “Take On – So Ireland can take off” and her experience in creating something positive in a difficult climate will be something that all delegates must hear.

  • Sean Murphy is Deputy Chief Executive of Chambers Ireland. He will be outlining what the government and public sector need to do to make it easier for businesses to drive growth. Sean’s contribution to the conference is guaranteed to draw questions and interest from delegates.

  • Lorcan O’Hobain has spent the last number of years studying how SME’s can counteract the difficulties of a ‘down’ economy. His advice will be timely and will provide delegates with insight into driving revenue growth at this difficult economic juncture.

Overall, the aim of the conference is to help you develop your business by providing useful insights, information and contact.
