Booking opens for Brewery Lane Theatre’s The Odd Couple

Booking opens Monday November 5th, 2012 for Brewery Lane Theatre’s production of the outlandishly funny play “The Odd Couple “by Neil Simon which commences its 8 night run on November 15, 2012.

 

Directed by Liam Butler this classic comedy focuses on the relationship between two mismatched friends Felix and Oscar who are trying to restart their lives after they both find themselves wifeless (because of their outlandish behaviours), the one thing they have in common is their living arrangement – together!. In the ultimate portrayal of opposites, Felix and Oscar come together to fight, drive each other crazy, push buttons and ultimately learn from their friendship.

 

Colm Power & Barry Comerford  play the lead roles and are supported by an excellent cast lineup including Wattie Dunphy, Gerry Fitzgerald, Michael Power, Veronica Geoghegan-Sweeney, Julie Ann Denby and Vivienne Coughlan. Unquestionably original, hilarious and entertaining with some of the funniest dialogue ever written you will have a delightful time watching these two unlikely roommates stumble through the awkwardness that is often found in friendships with those we love and love to hate….a night in the theatre not to be missed!
