Irish Guide Dogs for the Blindwould like to thank everyone that attended the Walk in Ballylooby South Tipperary on Sunday July 22nd. A great crowd descended on the village from communities around the area, Cahir, Ardfinnan, Clogheen, Clonmel, Fethard and New Inn.

“The sun disappeared but it certainly didn’t dampen peoples spirits and we really appreciate them joining us, after yesterdays success which saw the walk raise over €750 we want to sincerely thank everyone for coming along and being so generous we are already looking forward to next year’s event” says walk organiser and IGDB Communications Manager, Marguerite Tierney.

First over the finish line were Patrick Morrissey, Nathan Crosse, Cathal O'Gorman and Patrick Doyle.

The money raised on the day will go to helping Irish Guide Dogs to train more puppies to become Guide and Assistance Dogs of the future.
