Nenagh Eire Og Camogie notes

U 8s are training on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30. Our young team took part in a county blitz over in the ragg last weekend. All had a great time and we hope to have some more matches in the near future.

U/10’s are training on Mondays and Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30. Another blitz is coming up soon.

U/12’s. The U/12s are training on a Monday and Thursday Evening. Well done to all who made their Confirmation last weekend.

U14s. The U/14s are training on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30. Our A team beat Newport in their last group game and now await the County Semi-Final. Details of the semi-final will be given at training. Our B team finished their campaign with a great win over Lorrha. This team has performed really well with One win, Two draws and two Losses and they deserve a lot of credit. Our County girls were out in Ennis and while all girls played really well, both teams failed to reach the Finals. Get well soon to Lisa Darcy who got injured in the Newport game.

U/16s. The second round of the Championship had to be cancelled last week due to an unplayable pitch. Training continues and text’s will be sent out. Well done to Alana Morris and the Tipperary U/16 team who beat Cork in the Munster Final.

The junior b and minor panels will train on Wednesdays and Fridays. We lost a very entertaining game to Portroe on a scoreline of 4-11 to 3-9. Due to the amount of girls doing exams we won’t be playing any more matches until the exams are over. We have again entered the Munster League which will be played over the summer. Well done to Ciara Mcgrath, Aileen Duggan and the Tipperary minor panel who won their Munster Final last weekend.

Yours sincerely Mike Ryan
