do business’.
Speaking at the launch at the Damer Court Hotel in Roscrea, Dr. Vincent

be a key marketing tool to assist in the promotion of Roscrea in Ireland and
overseas. Among the target audiences are the Tipperary diaspora around the
world. We have a strong Ambassadors programme in Tipperary for some years
and copies of the brochure are already on their way to the numerous Tipperary
business people overseas to circulate to their business contacts. For those who
know someone who can shape an investment decision in an overseas company,
The ConnectIreland scheme recently launched by the Government, could
enhance the possibility for towns like Roscrea to attract inward investment and
jobs.”
Irish embassies overseas, IDA Ireland offices and Enterprise Ireland offices are
also being supplied with copies of the brochure to highlight Roscrea to
entrepreneurs and industrialists with an interest in investing in Ireland. The
brochure will assist them in their work as it highlights the strong selling points
including the exceptional quality of life, business-friendly environment, good
broadband infrastructure, and the availability of a nearby prime development site
which is ready for industrialists.
Joe MacGrath, North Tipperary County Manager, said: “Roscrea is a great
location for entrepreneurs to establish their business. The centrality of the town
to most locations in Ireland makes it a very attractive business destination. In
Roscrea we have excellent motorway infrastructure, wonderful leisure centre
facilities and outdoor amenities, and a vibrant business community – all essential
ingredients to attract and sustain further industry.”
The new 20 page full colour investment brochure provides the reader with an
overview of Roscrea, highlighting the highly skilled workforce, top quality
education system and quality of life, as just some of the attributes that may entice
investment to the area. It showcases the unique qualities and characteristics of
the town which will be of interest to companies considering relocating or investing

investment decisions in the future.”
