Don’t forget to check out the star-studded ‘Melancholia’ showing at Nenagh Arts Centre this Thursday Night as part of the Nenagh Film Club:

Film – ‘Melancholia’
8pm, Thursday 16 February 2012
Admission: €7

A meditation on the end of the world which stars Kirsten Dunst as an   emotionally troubled newly-wed named Justine, whose sister Claire (Charlotte Gainsbourg) throws her a lavish wedding party.
While her lack of emotional stability begins to take a toll on Justine’s new marriage as well as the party — and old wounds are exposed — Claire’s wealthy husband John (Kiefer Sutherland) also knows a great deal about a planet that is on a possible collision course with Earth, further muddying the waters.
John Hurt and Charlotte Rampling co-star.

“Lars von Trier’s Melancholia is a crazily bold, visually enthralling, and emotionally seismic drama about the meaning of existence”
– The Telegraph
