Brewery Lane Theatre fuels up its 2011 winter season

Brewery Lane Theatre fuels up its 2011 winter season with a wildly entertaining pairing of notable One-Act plays, drama of rare quality not to be missed!

Curtains open for “Riverside Drive” a very funny, very New York comedy gem by the brilliantly, witty and prolific American playwright Woody Allen and after the half-time cuppa sit back and immerse yourself in “The Shewing-up of Blanco Posnet” a curiously moving melodrama in the American Wild-West by the passionate, controversial and always entertaining Irish Playwright George Bernard Shaw….


Both plays have an exciting cast line-up of well known faces to Brewery Lane’s Stage. The Woody Allen play is directed by David Grant with the cast of Enda O Driscoll, David Grant and Clare O’ Sullivan. The GB Shaw play is directed by Colm Power and the cast includes Barry Comerford, Liam Butler, Walter Dunphy, Denis Barry, Julie Anne Denby, Sarah Power, Claire O Regan, Declan Smith-Robinson, Kevin Power, Tom Nealon, Maria Clancy, Paula O Dwyer, Jenny Hogan, Clare O Sullivan, Brian Coady, Eamon Byrne and Neil MacLean.

The double-bill performance will be staged for 8 nights from Saturday 12th November to Saturday 19th November 2011.Booking at the Heritage Centre, Carrick-on-Suir. Telephone 051 640200. Tickets €15. Doors open at 8pm and play commences at 8.15pm sharp. The featured artist exhibiting in the Kiln Area Art Gallery during the performances will be Pop Art Style Portrait Artist Siobhan Doyle.
