Tipperary Musical Society to stage The Sound of Musicals

After the resounding success of last year’s concert, Tipperary Musical Society have decided to once again thread the boards of the Ballykisteen Hotel stage in an effort to lift the spirits and share the joy of music with the Tipperary Community. “The Sound of Musicals” will display many of the familiar faces which you grown to love over the years, as well as some budding new talents, all of whom hail from your local neighbourhood. So whether you want to sit in silence and enjoy an emotive serenade, or support your local soprano this year’s concert will provide a prime opportunity to get away from the couch and enjoy some live entertainment. Furthermore, it will offer something for all musical ages from well known vintage classics to an array of modern delights. It will take place on Sunday the 16th of October in Ballykisteen Hotel at 8pm and tickets can be bought for €15 from Joe Whelans on the Main St. Tipperary Town. After the unprecedented demand for last year’s ticket sales we would encourage those attending to arrive early on the night.
As always we are looking for new talent. Perhaps you’re a hairbrush singer, bedroom dancing diva, a past principle, or simply good with a sewing machine! Whether your 18 or 80 we’d love to have you. Rehearsals for the concert are currently underway on Monday and Thursday nights @ 8pm in the Moorehaven Centre, O’Brien St. Tipperary Town. But it’s never too late to join. Or, maybe you’d rather the theatrical side of our society and prefer to wait until rehearsals for the show commence. Either way, feel free to contact 087-9170170 for further details, or simply post the attached form to Noel Greene, Garonmana, Lacken, Tipperary Town.
Everything comes too late for those who wait so get in touch today. Looking forward to meeting you
