The most cultured village in Ireland in Tipperary

Cloughjordan Culture Night, which was one of the 30 Culture Nights that took place all around Ireland on Friday, 23 September, and which was the first Culture Night ever held in north Tipperary, was a massive success. The
4-hour programme of free arts, heritage, and entertainment events included 14 individual events in numerous venues around Cloughjordan. Even the dogs on the street wanted to get in but couldn’t. Art exhibitions, singing,
literature, traditional music, heritage talks and exhibitions, and kung fu were only some of the events that drew people from all around North Tipperary.

The buzz around the village and the high quality of events was made possible by the many talented artists living in Cloughjordan and the guests who rowed in to create this wonderful evening. Many thanks go to the 34 artists and
performers who participated, the organisers, and the many people who helped make sure events took place.
