Details of AGM:

The Annual General Meeting of North Tipperary Macra na Ferime took place in
the Arch Bar, Thurles on Friday 17th June.  There was an excellent turnout
and the committee would like to thank all those that participated as well as
all members and non members that supported them throughout the year.

The Chairman, Mr. Tim Maher addressing the meeting stated that the
organisation in North Tipperary was going from strength to strength. Two new
clubs had been organised during the year and all six clubs in North Tipp are
in great shape. He paid tribute to Secretary Liz Kennedy who he said had
done Trojan work over the last two years. She is the rock on which North
Tipp Macra has been rebuilt. He also paid tribute to Development Officer,
Brigid Walsh, saying that without her, “there would be no North Tipp Macra”.
