South Tipperary General Hospital’s Future is Assured – Hayes

South Tipperary T.D. Tom Hayes is very pleased to assure the people of South Tipperary that the future for South Tipperary General Hospital is safe.

“I am very pleased to confirm that South Tipperary General Hospital’s future is assured and that the existing services are secured for the future, under a Fine Gael lead government.

Dr. James Reilly visited the hospital last Friday, to open the new University of Limerick Graduate Medicine centre in the Hospital Complex. He also had a comprehensive tour of the hospital and was very impressed with the services and staff there.

Under the change of health policy under the Fine Gael-Labour government, the future of the hospital is now guaranteed and I think that this is a major step forward for the constituency and for the wider area who depend on South Tipperary General Hospital.

I was very happy to have been able to help arrange this opening, and hospital visit by the Minister for Health and also to have the opportunity to relate to the Minister again how important the services are in this part of the country.
