German Chamber Philharmonic Visit Nenagh Arts Centre This Week

Arriving from Cologne, the German Orchestral group Chamber Philharmonic Europe performs with award-winning soloist Pawel Zuzanski (Violin) and Kirill Gusarov (Trumpet) in a special concert this week in Nenagh.

An evening of versatile sounds in their Powerful Emotions Tour’ includes works by the following selected composers: J. S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, J. N. Hummel, E. Grieg and G. Faure.

The Chamber Philharmonic Europe is a private orchestra initiative founded 2006 in Cologne, Germany, which engages musicians to create a demanding artistic ensemble and programme. The ensemble is made up of some of the most talented young musicians drawn from across Europe. The 2009-2010 season included over 60 concerts worldwide with the award-winning soloists Pawel Zuzanski (Violin) and Kyrill Gusarov (Trumpet) who will perform at this concert also.

The Ensemble has performed in many reputed concert halls and opera houses, including: Paris – Théatre des Bouffes-Parisiens, Brussel – De Munt Oper, Amsterdam – Koninklijk Theater Carré, Luxemburg – Grand Théatre de la Ville, Berlin – Konzerthaus.

This event is part of their European Tour 2011 and comes to Nenagh at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 12th. Tickets are €18 can be bought from the Arts Centre in the Town Hall, Banba Square or online at www.nenagharts.com
