We held an U14 blitz at the weekend in Nenagh CBS school grounds, we would like to thank Liam Mellows Galway City, St Judes Dublin and Burgess for taking part.  We had three competitive games winning 2 out of the 3.  A big thank you to all the parents who provided the food and refreshments and we would also like to thank the CBS for allowing us use there facilities.

The U16’s training Monday and Friday 5.15 – 6.30.  The first match in the championship is fast approaching.  We need all girls to attend training.

U18’s and Junior B’s had a great training session last Saturday morning in the hurling alley.  This adds to the training in the Athletics complex facilitated by Ray Deering and Sean Finn.  This specialized training will stand to the girls for the season and is very much appreciated by the players and management.  We hope to commence outdoors training mid week from next week.  Players will be notified via text message of all training sessions.  Our opening league is against Shannon Rovers in 2 weeks time, it is important that everyone makes a huge effort to attend all training sessions.

Speedy recovery to Alice Darcy who is recovering from injury.  Best of luck to Gemma Morris and Danielle Harrington who are attending Tipperary Trials at the moment.  The best of luck to Aileen Duggan and Alanna Morris who are in the Tipperary Squad for their game against Derry this weekend.  The County Board are running a monthly draw to raise much needed funds.  Tickets can be purchased from any committee member.

All memberships are now due and the club would encourage members to pay as quickly as possible.  The Club is taking park In the St Patricks Day parade on Thursday 17th March.  All girls are to meet in the CBS primary school (Summer hill side) at 1.40 pm wearing our club colours.

The Club would like to congratulate Mairead Long and her team for the fantastic  Scor Na Paisti event that they organized last Friday week.   Congratulates also to all the participants who performed superbly and best of luck to the groups that got through
