Drama Festival Week 2011 Begins at Holycross Tipperary

Drama Festival Week 2011 kicks off in Holycross on Friday 18th March and runs up until and including Saturday 26th March.  The hosts of this hugely attended Tipperary Festival, namely Holycross/Ballycahill Drama Group, have been successfully running this event since 1983.  This year the festival will boast some stunning  nights of theatre, performed by passionate theatre groups from all over Ireland, in their newly restored St. Michael’s Community Centre, beside the 13th century Abbey of Holy Cross, former which now boasts comfortable seating, including a balcony area, for some 500 of its patrons.

The show starts at 8.30 pm nighlty during the festival, except for the final night where the show will start at 8 pm.  Admission will be €12 each night, with students and o.a.p’s being charged €6.  The season ticket for all 9 performances costs €60.

Fri 25th March: Palace Players ‘Doubt – A Parable ‘ by John Patrick Shanley.

Sat 26th March: Nenagh Players ‘Out Of Order ‘ by Ray Cooney.
