Renowned International String Quartet To Visit The County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra

Amid a very busy schedule of performances during the coming month, The International Multi Award-winning Terpscychordes String Quartet from Geneva, will visit the CTRYO  and stage a master class for  members during their weekly Friday   rehearsal on 11th March.     Sponsored by the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras, of which the CTRYO is a member, the visit affords   a wonderful opportunity for string members to gain valuable information on technique and performance skills from members of this highly acclaimed International String Ensemble, two of whom are of Swiss nationality, one an Italian and one a Hungarian.

Michael John Ryan, Director of the CTRYO who  extends a Cead Mile Failte to the

Terpsychordes String Quartet, also encourages the general public to attend a performance by the Quartet at the Tipperary Excel on Thursday 10th March.    (See special programme for details.).  Presenting a programme of classical gems, the occasion should prove to be a rare treat for music-lovers.
