Nenagh Special Needs Summer Camp

Few items in the print media of recent times are of the “ feel  good
factor” but believe it or not there is and has been for the last 23
years a voluntary organization bringing endless joy and vital
re-creative time for Special needs children in North Tipperary and
beyond the County boundaries in some instances during the school
holiday period. Nenagh Special Needs Summer Camp  (NSSC) has catered
for Special children each and every summer for the last 23 years
providing them with Camp that includes play and multi stimulating
activities daily. Our special Children have also been creative while
having fun and are now exhibiting some of their works for the
community at large to come and see. In Nenagh Library on March 10th
NSSC are hosting the opening of an exhibition of art pieces created
during camp by our special children under the supervision of Kieran
Whitelaw. We are inviting you to come celebrate with our children and
focus on their abilities rather than disabilities. There will be a
cheese and wine reception on arrival which  will commence at 7.45pm
with plenty of entertainment on the evening.  Many of our very proud
budding artists will be there on the night and we’re looking forward
to your company also.
