“Whales and dolphins of Irish inshore waters and beyond”a Talk by Irish Whale & Dolphin Group at Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh

This illustrated presentation by Pádraig Whooley, Sightings Co-ordinator of the IWDG will take an engaging look at the most frequently observed cetacean species, including some rarely seen ones, in Irish waters.  With an increasing diversity of “blubber” being seen throughout Irish waters, this presentation will be an eye-opener for divers and local wildlife enthusiasts from “land-locked” Tipperary, who spend time on or in Irish waters.  Pádraig presentation will be supplemented with a fascinating array of whale artefacts and “body parts” (not human). We look forward to seeing you there on the evening of Tuesday 25th January at the Abbey Court Hotel, Dublin Rd., Nenagh at 8pm. This talk is being organised by Lough Derg Sub Aqua Club, admission is free but donations are welcome.
