Tipperary company announced as a winner in the Irish Print Awards

The Label Factory, Clonmel has been announced as a winner in the prestigious Irish Print Awards at a glittering ceremony in Dublin’s Four Seasons Hotel last weekend.

The company received the award for their John L. Sullivan Irish Whiskey label in The Self-Adhesive Labels category.

Now in its 33rd year, the awards aim to recognise and reward the quality of design, printing and finishing involved in the production of a wide range of printed material, such as newspapers, magazines, books and marketing collateral, including variable data print, and packaging and label printing.

Amir Peay, President of John L. Sullivan Irish Whiskey in the USA commented “It was a great honor for us to have the John L. Sullivan label win ‘Best Label’ at the Irish Print Awards. The Label Factory did a tremendous job in printing the label and ensuring that our design and vision was fully realised in production. This award is a great testament to the creativity and hard work that went into this project, from conceptualisation, to design with The Big Idea Group (USA), to production with the Label Factory, and of course to the amazing whiskey from the Cooley distillery.”

The Label Factory came highly recommended to the American company and following an unsuccessful print run of the label in the US, The Label Factory secured the contract to print this new to market label based on their expertise in the field”

As the only non-Dublin finalists in their category , The Label Factory said they were honoured to have won what is traditionally a very competitive category and is testament to the fact that small sized businesses can compete and indeed succeed on the big stage.
