Language UnBecoming A Lady

THE SOURCE ARTS CENTRE

25TH NOVEMBER @ 8PM

TICKETS €18 / €16

Language UnBecoming A Lady is very real and earthy.Well known Limerick actor Myles Breen wrote the play as Bobby, a gay man, and performs it solo, aided only by the songs of the divas he adores. Having donned his fair share of frocks over the years to play many colourful, larger-than-life panto dames, there is no better man than Myles to tell this heartfelt story.

Accompanied by a wonderful soundtrack with excerpts from Billie Holliday, Judy Garland, Barbara Streisand and Nina Simone, the play cuts the right balance between sentimentality and artistry. Language UnBecoming a Lady is fabulously written, wonderfully acted, and tells an extremely important story of inner strength and inspiration. A must see theatre gem for this season!
