Sam Sheppard’s ‘Fool for Love’, The Source Arts Centre, Friday 24 Sept 2010

The Keegan Theatre Company from Washington DC are all set to appear at The Source Arts Centre for one night only, with their newMark Rhea Coyboy Hat Flyer production of Sam Sheppard’s American classic, Fool for Love. They will be at the Thurles venue on Friday 24th September for what is bound to be one of the theatrical highlights of the year.

Since The Source opened its doors in 2006, this wonderful theatre company have made a point of bringing their work to the venue. They have previously presented, Of Mice and Men, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Glengarry Glen Ross and Death of a Salesman in Thurles. All were received with rapturous applause.

Fool for Love is bound to be another huge success for the company, as this intense and exciting piece of theatre casts a spotlight on the shared human emotions of love, hate and the dying myths of the old west. Set in a low rent motel room on the edge of the desert, the play tells the story of Eddie, an ex-rodeo rider and May and the love hate relationship they now share. Unable to hold onto each other or let each other go, the play shows the heights and depths of love and how it can make fools of us all.

Fool for Love is at The Source Arts Centre on Friday 24th September at 8pm. Tickets €20 / €18 concession.

For Bookings please call the Box Office on 0504 90204 or log on to The Source Arts Centre.
