Open mic event at The Source Thurles

The Source Arts Centre’s stage is open to everyone on Friday 17th September! Yes, that’s right, you can take to the stage at The Source with your band, comedy act, dance routine, solo act… anything goes! And tickets to the evening show are free!

It’s North Tipperary’s contribution to a national day of action for the arts and culture, organised by the National Campaign for the Arts. On Friday 17th September all around the country artists, performers and punters will be joining forces to show how important the arts are to them. This is your chance to join them in their simple message. The arts are a necessity.  Not a luxury.  The arts are an asset.  Not an overhead.

So if you want to take part in this celebration of the arts, call Claudia or Dermot on 0504 90340! You can be any age, a professional or from a community group. You can be a band, a soloist, a dancer, a comedian, a poet, an actor, a singer, a writer… It doesn’t matter, just come and get involved and share how important the arts are to you! Let’s show the world that North Tipp values their heritage, their arts, their cultural identity. Let’s celebrate the arts and have a great evening doing it!

Anyone interested in being part of the open mic event, please speak to Dermot or Claudia by 15th September at the latest.

Tickets to the event are free. Just call the Box Office on 0504 90204 to book your place!
