It was quite a busy week for the club with the U 14 Championship starting and what a start it proved to be. The opponents were Thurles in the Ragg last Monday. It was a superb game of hurling with no quarter asked for or given by either team. The Nenagh team are really taking shape under the guidance of the management team and they are obviously listening attentively to their coached. The game ended 4-4 apiece and everybody in attendance were in agreement that they had witnessed two sporting teams giving their all. On Wednesday we played Holycross in Nenagh and we had a comprehensive victory which sets us up nicely for the last game of the group against Clonoulty in Clonoulty on Sunday which again was won comprehensively leaving us in a semi final.

The u 12s had a comprehensive victory against Kilruane on Thursday which makes it two wins out of two for them.

On Sunday the Junior b Team played against Kilruane and despite losing they again showed great improvement against a more established team.

Congratulations to Ciara McGrath and the Tipperary u 16 team on their fantastic victory over Kilkenny in the All Ireland semi final and congratulations to the Tipperary Camogie board for very successfully hosting the two All Ireland semi finals on Saturday. It was a very tough and physical battle which Tipperary won 0-13 to 1-04. Ciara McGrath chipped in 1pt in a good overall performance at wing forward. The Tipperary team and management have put in huge effort and it is clearly showing in their performances.
