A meeting of Devil’s Bit Macra na Feirma will take place on Friday 19th March at 8pm in Eddie Joe’s Pub, Templemore.

The Parent Association of St. John the Baptist Girls’ Primary School will hold their Annual Fashion Show in Bru Boru Cashel starting at 7.15pm with a cheese and wine reception.

Cashel Library will host another book into film afternoon at 3.15pm. This week’s film is Harry Potter.

The Bit and Bridle in Killenaule will be hosting a Race Night on 20th march at 9pm in aid of Danny Dwyer, Lanespark who was seriously injured in an accident before Christmas.

The Nenagh choral Society’s Anything Goes comes to Nenagh from Saturday 20th to 27th March at 8pm in the local Vocational School Hall.

21st March

The Suir Vale Hunt are holding a Sponsored Ride in aid of the Guidedogs Association of Ireland on Sunday 21st march at 2pm in Templemore. Contact Brian on 087-2114989

The Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers will undertake a joint walk leaving for the Comeragh Mountains from outside the Cashel Firestation at 11am on 21st March.

Tipperary will be represented at the Munster Senior Scor Final to be held next Sunday 21st march in An Tintean, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry

The Thurles St. Patrick’s Day Parade leaves from Abbey Road at 2.45pm on Sunday 21st March.

23rd March

A Meeting to form the South Tipperary Military History Society will be held in Slievenamon Golf Club, Lisronagh on Tuesday 23rd march at 8pm.

The Student Enterprise Awards will take place on Tuesday 23rd march in the Abbey Court Hotel. The exhibition will be open to view the stands from 10.30am.

The Thurles Musical Society will premiere “Jekyll and Hyde” in the Premier Hall. Tickets from the Booking Office in Hickey’s Pharmacy in Liberty Square. 0504 21423

AGM of the Active Retirement on Wed 24th march at 3pm

There will be a Probus Meeting in Hayes Hotel, Thurles on Wednesday 24th March at 11am.

The Alzheimer Society of North Tipperary is holding a Flower Arranging Demonstration by Elizabeth Rose in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Wednesday 24th March at 8pm.

25th March

The Year of the Hiker returns to Templemore Arms Hotel on 25th to 27th March

St. Cualans Senior Citizens Club, Borrisoleigh has arranged a trip to Mount St. Joseph’s Monastery, Roscrea on Thursday 25th March. Bus will leave the square in Borrisoleigh at 2pm and will return at aprox. 6pm. Names with the committee by Monday 22nd March.

26th March

Table Quiz in aid of St. Mary’s Parish Church Restoration Fund will be held in the Spinning Wheel, Patrick Street, Templemore on Friday March 26th at 9pm. €20 per table.

A weekend retreat will take place in the Pallotine College, Thurles on Friday 26th to Sunday 28th March

Annacarty Childcare are having a pyjama day for both our pre-school and afterschool group on Friday 26th March in aid of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The group are appealing for public support.

The Galtee Walking Club, Tipperary is having the annual Marathon on Sunday March 28th in the Glen of Aherlow from the Rock an Tarbh Car Park which is across the road from the upper entrance to Aherlow House Hotel. Registration begins at 8am and the Marathon gets underway at 9am

31st March

A digital media exhibition, Digital Expression will be held in the Tipperary Institute on the Clonmel Campus. Works by David Creedon and the Darklight Film Festival.
